AQUA SPAZIO BENESSERE SAUNA

Outdoor Large Sauna.jpg

Modern outdoor Finnish sauna complex with all the bells & whistles

Our most premium outdoor sauna design is defined by Scandinavian minimalism, panoramic glass walls, and the seamless integration of invisible smart technology. Modern high-end saunas prioritize authentic, sustainable materials like thermally treated wood and natural stone to create a "sanctuary" rather than just a heated room so our wellness facility designs also move away from traditional hidden boxes toward bold, geometric structures that serve as architectural focal points.

We incorporate as many of the the four essential sauna elements in our Benessere Premium Outdoor Sauna range as possible:

  • The Hot Zone: A sauna with tiered seating for varied heat intensity and panoramic glass walls to connect with the landscape.

  • The Cold Plunge: Positioned immediately adjacent to the sauna exit for traditional Nordic temperature cycling.

  • Transition Anteroom: A weather-sealed changing area that acts as a thermal buffer, keeping heat in the sauna while providing a place for robes and smart controls.

  • Social Lounge: A semi-enclosed terrace or deck featuring comfortable seating and a fire pit for post-session relaxation.

We try to use panoramic glass cabins with floor-to-ceiling tempered glass, connecting the user to nature while maintaining high energy efficiency. Dark-toned interiors, such as black thermo-ash, are used for creating a "smoke sauna" look, sometimes contrasted with light-colored aspen benches for dramatic effect.

We use latest technology with hybrid heating systems that combine traditional steam (electric or wood-fired) with full-spectrum infrared panels allow users to switch between intense heat and gentle recovery sessions, and indirect, dimmable LED strips placed under benches or behind backrests provide "wall-washing" light effects that can be adjusted for mood, such as energising morning light or soft evening glows.

A very popular addition to saunas now is Red light therapy (RLT) that boosts cellular energy by using specific red (600-700nm) and near-infrared (800-950nm) wavelengths to stimulate mitochondria, increasing the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). This surge in cellular fuel enhances repair, reduces inflammation, and promotes healing for skin, muscles, and chronic pain.
