SHOWCASING OUR CAPABILITY TO FIT A SAUNA ANYWHERE

In Hammersmith, London, we converted a small garden shed into a bespoke sauna, proving that even the most compact spaces can be transformed into a luxurious wellness retreat. Despite its modest footprint, the design maximises functionality and comfort, delivering a complete sauna experience in a space-efficient form.
​
The sauna structure was fully insulated, sealed with a vapour barrier, and finished in Thermo Aspen, chosen for its refined tone and durability. A floating bench and a slim glass door maintain a sense of openness, while concealed LED lighting enhances the warm glow of the timber. This project demonstrates how thoughtful design and premium materials can elevate even the tiniest of spaces, creating a private retreat that feels spacious, modern, and inviting.
MATERIALS
​
The interior is clad in Thermo Aspen, a heat-treated timber prized for its durability, stability, and golden-brown hue. Its smooth finish remains comfortable under heat, while its natural elegance gives the sauna a refined and contemporary aesthetic.

The frameless glass door maintains visibility and light flow, ensuring the small sauna does not feel enclosed, while the floating bench helps preserve floor space and contributes to the clean, minimalist design.

FACILITIES​
​
The sauna features a single floating bench, designed to maximise comfort within the compact layout. Its minimalist construction makes cleaning simple while reinforcing the modern, streamlined appearance.

Concealed LED strip lighting was integrated to highlight the warm tones of the Thermo Aspen and create a calming ambience within the small space. Despite its size, the sauna feels bright, warm, and inviting.

HEATER
​​
The sauna is powered by the HUUM DROP 4.5 kW heater. Inspired by the shape of a water droplet, its organic design softens the angular lines of the sauna and becomes a statement feature within the compact interior. Despite its small form factor, the heater can hold up to 55 kg of stones, ensuring long-lasting steam and a thoroughly authentic sauna experience.

The heater is paired with the UKU Local controller, providing simple, reliable, and user-friendly control of the sauna environment. Together, they deliver efficiency, style, and durability in a system perfectly suited for a small-scale private sauna.
