Quick install garden saunas

With a straightforward one box design with the door opening straight to the outside with or without sauna window, our outdoor saunas can be either curved barrel wooden structures or right angled box structures, both very popular for UK gardens and offering efficient heat circulation and quick assembly for clients who want the sauna installed ASAP. These suit UK's weather with water-shedding designs and thermo-wood for durability. The barrel shape rolls hot air evenly, reducing cold spots and energy use compared to cabin saunas; walls are typically 40-48mm thick thermo-wood or spruce. Many include bronze glass doors, L-shaped benches, and options for verandas or changing rooms; heaters are small electric 3-9kW and lights are LED lamps with diffusers.

 

These need no foundation—just level pavers—and heat in 1-2 hours for 15-20 minute sessions. ​ In general barrel or cube saunas offer a compact, rustic design ideal for outdoor setups, although these do come with notable trade-offs in comfort and efficiency. For quick assembly we supply the sauna timber as pre-cut wood, making these quick to install without major tools or foundations, and at a lower upfront cost than treated timber cabin-style options.

 

In the barrel saunas, the curved shape reduces air volume by up to 23% compared to square saunas, allowing faster warmup (45-50 minutes) and natural convection that circulates heat evenly without cold corners. Their compact footprint suits small gardens, and the barrel look adds rustic appeal to these garden saunas.
